The Working Group develops solutions for effective implementation of genomic medicine at both national and healthcare system levels. The Working Group also seeks opportunities for collaboration toward developing an evidence base for genomic medicine implementation.

Topics actively in discussion include understanding allelic architecture to help drive population precision health policy and clinical interpretation of genetic variation among diverse populations; sharing best practices and quality assurance measures for clinical interpretation of DNA sequence data and for reporting results; advancing institutional readiness for implementation of genomic medicine; policies regarding reimbursement for evidence-based genomic testing; and approaches for education programs to prepare current and future physicians and health care providers for the practice of genomic medicine.
