Thank you for taking the time to nominate a colleague, or nominate yourself, for a leadership position with the Global Genomic Medicine Consortium (G2MC) – specifically as a member of the Steering Committee.

The G2MC Steering Committee will approve and advise upon program goals set out by the Executive Committee according to the long-term strategic directions. They will execute assignments from the EC, manage existing working groups and propose creation of new functional groups as appropriate (to be approved by BoD). They will review and approve G2MC-wide protocols and procedures, participate in SC meetings (currently every other month), international conferences, and support philanthropy efforts. Steering Committee members are appointed for a 3-year renewable term.

The G2MC is dedicated to ensuring our leadership teams are built on the continuity and of participation by qualified and globally represented members and we are very appreciative of the careful consideration that you have put into this recommendation.
