G2MC Early Career Investigators Forum (ECIF)
(formerly called Young Investigators Forum)
on October 2-4, 2023
Potential Early Career Investigator (ECI) participants (young and/or new to the field of genomic medicine) (graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty within 2 years of their postdoc, residency, or fellowship, or investigators new to genomic medicine within past two years) are strongly encouraged to present results of their own original work. Abstracts can only be submitted through this Online Submission Module, and submitters should also register to attend the meeting through the Conference Registration website tab.
G2MC will cover the registration fee and lodging for the ECIs selected for the Podium presentation and for the flash talks. G2MC also will apply for a travel grant to cover part of the selected ECIs travel costs to provide assistance so they can attend in person. If you don’t have the opportunity to travel, we would accept a virtual presentation, even if an in-person experience is recommended..
Up to ten (10) abstracts will be selected by our ECIF Abstract Review Committee for the Podium presentations and up to 20 chosen to participate in the Flash Talk session. All qualified abstracts will be chosen for poster presentation.
The ECIF Abstract Review Committee will also make available brief biographies through Google Docs to the other attending Early Career Investigators. We will ask you to become familiar with your colleagues to identify those with similar interests.
The 3 best oral presentations and the 3 best posters will be awarded.
